My Last Chat with Mike

J G: I want to make a video and NOW...
mike brewer: That went up three days ago, and he hasn't posted since
J G: "What is Bad about the Anti-AA Movement....
J G: 12 Step Free....
mike brewer: The only bad part will be the satisfaction it gives Butters and Rob
J G: The closed minded nature of people who pigeon hole individuals for the simple reason they were FORCED to join a group whilst under duress."
J G: End of video.
mike brewer: You can go ahead and do it, or give me an hour or so
J G: ha ha I would love to but I have made my peace.
mike brewer: That would definitely pull you back into the game
mike brewer: How many hits does morerevealed get?
J G: When I can be taken off topic for talking about something that is so on topic, I know my job is done. All I have to do is sit back and watch all of them chase the same tail over and over, making little progress, and then blaming AA for their lack of achievement. I have watched them do it for almost 4 years now; this time I can do so without any guilt - I am no longer responsible.
mike brewer: You have definitely done your part. Several mentioned that on the boards
mike brewer: You got me a lot more involved, productively, than I ever would have otherwise
J G: I have sat back for a couple of months now and really thought about this and not ME in this.
mike brewer: I was about done when you asked me along
mike brewer: I'm glad you did
J G: There is a relatively large problem among a small number of us who are involved in this...
mike brewer: I wasn't sure what was up with you, but reflection is a good thing
mike brewer: Territorialism
J G: (Oh I was not only doing that... I was living as well and after all to put anything into perspective you have to be enduring/living/taking part in other things that act as comparisons.)
mike brewer: We get so used to battling the step movement, we shoot at anything that moves
mike brewer: I'm glad to see you out of it for a bit
J G: The MAJOR problem we have, if I can include you in "WE"...
mike brewer: It is a we problem
mike brewer: So go right ahead
J G: Is the fact the major players in this all want to be the first one there, the one that takes all the credit, the big fishes in the small pond, so when anyone with REAL talent comes along, they get praised for a while and then destroyed by the likes of ******, ******* et al. What they fail to realise bless them is that Orange beat us all - that never bothered me.
mike brewer: I consider you, *******, and ******** as colleagues
mike brewer: Everyone else, not so much
J G: There are more often than not only two types of people in the Anti AA movement - and only two... (with exceptions of course)
J G: Those that are liberated by it and those that want to be praised for liberating the aforementioned.
mike brewer: Fanatics and pragmatists
J G: And I will happily say that to anyone, anywhere, now.
J G: It is the truth.
mike brewer: Of course, it is
mike brewer: ******** and *********are as crazy as Wilson was
J G: I do not really want to be a part of that.
J G: BUT...
mike brewer: You aren't
mike brewer: Therein lies their problem
J G: I admit for a moment I got caught up in it and I enjoyed liberating people, but on reflection, that is what caused my downfall, if you can even call it that.
mike brewer: You learned from all of it
mike brewer: And knowledge is a good thing
mike brewer: Sometimes painful
J G: However at the end of the day if I am to respect my original aims, then to admit that is no bad thing, provided people were helped along the way, but to continue on that path, having admitted that to myself, would be plain wrong.
mike brewer: I believe your addictions are behind you
mike brewer: Eventually, we begin repeating ourselves
mike brewer: Like I said, I think you can move away from those demons now
mike brewer: And that is very empowering
J G: When I quite Blamedenial before I did so feeling a certain loss, and hence I returned with a need to fill that void... this time I do so with absolute honesty; the very thing AA demanded of me, and I feel I have achieved it without its stupid program.
mike brewer: BD may have been a transition away from AA
mike brewer: for you
J G: So what if a few people think I am an idiot? I was an idiot for a long part of this; I was getting over AA.

Good luck my friends.

J
